March Monthly Serving Focus

“Feed Our Seniors” is our March focus. The SUN (Seniors United for Nutrition) Program offers hot meals to residents aged 60 and older from Monday to Friday, either onsite in Dodgeville or delivered to homes in Dodgeville, Ridgeway, and Barneveld. HVCC hosts the onsite group in Dodgeville. The program aims to offer nutritious meals, encourage social connections, reduce loneliness, and support independence. Currently, the main need is funding for home-delivered meals, as government support is limited. We are collecting cash donations to assist seniors who can’t afford the $6.50 fee for a meal. You can donate cash or coins in the collection jar at the Information Center on Sunday mornings, or write a check with “MSF” in the memo line to place in the offering box.
