Your development and growth in your relationship with God is your responsibility. We provide the tools to help you take the next step. One key tool we offer is Growth Classes like those listed below. Each of these classes offers helpful information as well as practical guidance on applying what you've learned.

We highly recommend that you take Class 101 first because it provides an overall picture of how we operate and basic foundational knowledge about Christianity. But these classes do NOT need to be taken in order. Pick the one that's the right next-step for you!

Class 101 Discover Life in The Valley

Next Dodgeville Class: Tues, Sept. 9, 5:30-9:30pm; Supper provided
This class covers the Basics: exploring our salvation; discussing the beliefs, values, and vision of Hidden Valley Community Church; learning about our strategy and how our church is structured and what it means to be a member. The opportunity to become a member is offered at the end of the class, but membership is not required in order to take the class.

Class 201 Experiencing God in Life

Next Dodgeville Class: Tues, Sept. 16, 5:30-9:30pm; Supper provided
In this class you'll learn how to get something out of the Bible, make sense of money, pray and connect with God and other habits that can keep your adventure with God white hot. This class will help you develop a richer relationship with God by starting and maintaining the habits of spiritual maturity.

Class 301 Discover Your Purpose in Life

Begin the process of discovering why God put you here on Earth. You were made for a reason! You'll also learn about the vision for ministry at HVCC and have the opportunity to explore your best opportunities for a serving match that fits how you're uniquely shaped. This class is a great next step for you if you have a heart to serve but are wondering about your next step. In Class 301, you will complete a S.H.A.P.E. personal profile. As a follow-up to the class, you will meet with a ministry guide who will help you to explore areas of service.

Class 401 Discover How To Share Your Faith with Others

The Bible calls us in 1 Peter 3:15 to "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect..." This class provides helpful tools on how. Learn how to share your faith in a way that is comfortable with how God has made you.
