Home Kids and Youth Nursery, Ages 0-3
Nursery Ages 0-3

If you’re a typical parent, you may feel a wave of stress when you think of the ordeal of getting the family dressed, packed into the car and to church. Unfortunately we can’t get the toddler dressed faster (or get the cereal out of his hair). But we do alleviate stress once you get here with outstanding kids programs that engage children and enable parents to worship without distraction.

The Hidden Valley Community Church nursery serves children ages 0-3 during both Sunday morning services. The volunteers who serve in the nursery strive to provide excellence in the areas of childcare, safety and security to meet both the children‘s needs and the parents’ needs.

Meeting children’s needs:

  • We provide a safe, loving and fun environment for learning and playing
  • We demonstrate Jesus’ love by teaching and modeling Christian behavior and values
  • We teach and model Christian concepts through story time, music and interactive, age-appropriate play

Meeting parents’ needs: We provide safe, loving care for young children to enable parents to attend church without distraction and without worry. We ensure that finding sufficient childcare isn’t a barrier to coming to Hidden Valley and experiencing God’s love.

Although we are not a certified childcare center, we pattern our nursery after those standards. We enforce a secure application process for volunteers, a tag system for children and their parents, strict guidelines on numbers of workers present when children are in the nursery, a secure nursery that ensures that children are safe from outside intrusion and policy that protects both children and workers.
